Mango Sumo Boost Effects Pedal

You can’t beat the tone of a good valve amplifier going into overdrive - its what they do best. Sometimes your amplifier needs a little assistance to do this, and that’s where the Sumo Boost comes into play. It is a clean boost which adds no distortion of its own, but helps to drive your amplifier further into overdrive. Useful for giving your solos more presence and sustain, or to get that transition from clean rhythm to overdriven solo - but its your amp that’s doing the work, the Sumo just drives it harder.

We have made the pedal extremely simple but effective, just one silicon transistor and a drive knob just like the old power boosters, but we have added true bypass and a status LED and built it with high quality components throughout. These pedals are hand-built and wired indivually in our workshop and as with all out products, the emphasis is on tone and reliability.
