For this set of bronze acoustic strings Optima uses the finest laboratory steel and, in addition, coated the strings with a hard Bronze plating.

The bronze plating combined with a unique core design plus specialist winding techniques, gives the Optima Bronze Strings a clear and bright sound, ensures excellent sustain and helps reduce the deterioration in tonal quality as the string ages.
